This research aims to analyze the process of resignification of the intercultural symbols of the identity of the people of Maranhão in Boa Vista, having as object of research the Celebration of Saint Raimundo Nonato in the Santa Luzia neighborhood in the city of Boa Vista. On the basis of migration as encounters of individuals who bring with them regional cultural symbols through networks of family or extrafamilial relationships marked in the production of their territorialities, which when merging with new cultures, new identities contribute to the cultural formation of the subject. Connected to the space of the São Raimundo Nonato Community, the people of Maranhão in Boa Vista seek to mark the occupation of the territory to strengthen their faith and devotion for the saint. In order to reach the proposed objectives, it was necessary to search for elements to analyze the celebration as a reflection of the process of hybridization in the construction of identity. Bringing multiculturalism as a resumption of Maranhão's life in the new space, it was possible to observe that even with difficulties and exclusions, the territorializations are similar to the possibility of bringing the land of origin closer to that of destiny.
