Resumo: | This study analyzes the influence of pedagogical training (or lack thereof) in the work of teachers of vocational technical education of the Federal Institutes, in particular the Federal Institute of Amap? (IFAP), configuring it as a case study, in order collecting data about their teaching practices and provide visibility to the profile of these professionals. To do so, through a qualitative approach and also support quantitative analysis to assist in aspects of the data and rationale, held a brief historical contextualization of the route, organization, progress and setbacks of professional and technological education in Brazil, since its official until today, to then address issues and problems that involve the training of teachers for decades and consequently the specific work involving the teacher engaged in professional technological education, which is faced with a mode of teaching that requires a set of knowledge, highlighting the pedagogical, for which only their initial training ends up not being enough. Finally, we sought to investigate how in fact this theme is present in an institution that operates this type of education and how it has influenced the teaching practice, using for this the questionnaires with teachers of technical training and general training, in addition to educational management, which resulted in data analysis using graphs, tables and speeches confronted with theoretical reflections. From this it was possible to understand and identify concepts that the staff responsible for the work of educational management has on the education and professional performance of teachers in this mode of teaching, as well as collect data on teachers themselves about their education, identity, experience, practice , conceptions, importance of pedagogical training for his performance, difficulties, among others. In the final considerations problematize what was covered and perceived through the data collected, and presents proposals enabling improvements in teacher training for vocational education. |

(IFAP), configurando-se como um estudo de caso, com a finalidade de levantar dados sobre suas pr?ticas pedag?gicas e dar visibilidade ao perfil desses profissionais. Para isso, atrav?s de uma abordagem qualitativa e com suporte tamb?m dos aspectos quantitativos para colaborar na an?lise e fundamenta??o dos dados, realizou-se uma breve contextualiza??o hist?rica sobre o percurso, organiza??o, avan?os e retrocessos da Educa??o profissional e Tecnol?gica no Brasil, desde sua oficializa??o at? os dias atuais, para em seguida abordar as quest?es e dificuldades que envolvem a forma??o de professores h? d?cadas e, consequentemente, trabalhar as especificidades que envolvem o professor que atua na educa??o profissional tecnol?gica, que se v? diante de uma modalidade de ensino que requer um conjunto de saberes, com destaque para o pedag?gico, para os quais apenas a sua forma??o inicial acaba por n?o ser suficiente. Por fim, buscou-se investigar como de fato essa tem?tica se faz presente em uma institui??o que atua nesta modalidade de ensino e como tem influenciado na pr?tica docente, utilizando-se para isso, a aplica??o de question?rios junto aos professores de forma??o t?cnica e de forma??o geral, al?m da gest?o pedag?gica, que resultou numa an?lise de dados por meio de gr?ficos, quadros e falas confrontadas com reflex?es te?ricas. A partir disso, foi poss?vel compreender e identificar concep??es que a equipe respons?vel pelo trabalho de gest?o pedag?gica possui sobre a educa??o profissional e atua??o dos professores nesta modalidade de ensino, bem como levantar dados com os pr?prios docentes sobre sua forma??o, identidade, experi?ncias, pr?ticas, concep??es, import?ncia da forma??o pedag?gica para sua atua??o, dificuldades enfrentadas, entre outras.
