Resumo: Currently, the relevance of interdisciplinary projects in school and academic contexts has been discussed aiming at the global development of the students and the teaching through practices that encourage students to reflect on the themes studied in a critical and transforming way. Although the PCN (National Curriculum Parameters, used in Brazil) encourage interdisciplinary practices, and the ENEM (Exame Nacional do Ensino M?dio, a test used for admission in universities in Brazil), which promotes, among other things, further integration between subjects in high school, mathematics classes and, in particular, that about affine functions, are often presented in a traditional way, in which the students are not motivated to learn. In this context, a survey was conducted about an interdisciplinary approach with the use of a ludic tool in teaching affine functions to the first year of high school of a teachers training course of a public school, located in the city of Queimados, RJ. Such research consisted of a case study whose objective was to evaluate in the study group, the progress of learning affine functions and the motivation to study mathematics with an interdisciplinary approach of the theme through physical experiments in the kinematics area. The research activity consisted of several stages. In the first, there were applied a motivational questionnaire and a pre-test in order to assess the level of student motivation in learning mathematics and the prior knowledge of affine functions and uniform rectilinear motion. After this, experiments were carried out using a toy train, which accomplished a railway uniform rectilinear motion. Some milestones on the road have been established and, with the aid of the cell phones from the students, the movement was filmed. Quickly the students obtained, through the reading of the video, the instant that the mobile passed at each milestone. The experiments took place with the train in two distinct speeds, and also in the direction of the path and against the direction of the path, allowing the teacher to work with content related to affine functions and uniform movement. Finally there were applied a post-test about affine functions and uniform rectilinear motion and a new motivational questionnaire in mathematics, which evaluated the impressions of students about the experiment conducted. After that, the results obtained in the tests to assess the evolution of learning about affine functions and motivation to learn mathematics were confronted before and after the experiment. These assessments were made qualitatively and quantitatively by analyzing the scores obtained in the test and the way the students recorded their discursive answers in them.

Embora os Par?metros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN) incentivem a pr?tica interdisciplinar, al?m do Exame Nacional do Ensino M?dio (ENEM), que promove, entre outras coisas, a aproxima??o de disciplinas do Ensino M?dio, as aulas ministradas de matem?tica e, em particular sobre fun??es afins, costumam ser apresentadas de uma maneira tradicional, sem que o aluno se sinta estimulado a aprender. Nesse contexto, elaborou-se uma pesquisa sobre uma abordagem interdisciplinar com a utiliza??o de um instrumento l?dico no ensino de fun??es afins com alunos do primeiro ano do ensino m?dio do curso de forma??o de professores de uma escola da Rede Estadual de Ensino, situada no munic?pio de Queimados, RJ. Tal pesquisa consistiu num estudo de caso, cujo objetivo foi avaliar, no grupo pesquisado, o progresso da aprendizagem de fun??es afins e a motiva??o para estudar matem?tica, mediante uma abordagem interdisciplinar do tema por meio de experimentos f?sicos no ramo da cinem?tica. A atividade de pesquisa consistiu em v?rias etapas. Na primeira delas, foram aplicados um question?rio sobre motiva??o em matem?tica e um pr?-teste, com a finalidade de avaliar o n?vel de motiva??o dos alunos em aprender matem?tica e o conhecimento pr?vio sobre fun??es afins e movimento retil?neo uniforme. Ap?s isso, foram realizados experimentos com o uso de um trenzinho de brinquedo movido a pilha, o qual realizava movimento retil?neo uniforme numa ferrovia, tamb?m de brinquedo. Foram estabelecidos alguns marcos na estrada e, com o aux?lio de celulares dos pr?prios alunos, foi filmado o movimento do m?vel pelo trajeto. Ent?o os alunos obtiveram, atrav?s da leitura do v?deo, o instante em que o m?vel passou em cada marco inicialmente estabelecido. Os experimentos ocorreram com o m?vel em duas velocidades distintas e tamb?m com movimento a favor e contra a orienta??o da trajet?ria, propiciando ao professor trabalhar com os conte?dos de fun??o afim e movimento uniforme. Finalmente foram aplicados um p?s-teste sobre fun??es afins e movimento retil?neo uniforme e um novo question?rio sobre motiva??o em matem?tica, o qual avaliou as impress?es dos alunos sobre a experi?ncia realizada. Ap?s isso, foram confrontados os resultados obtidos nos testes realizados para avaliar a evolu??o da aprendizagem sobre fun??es afins e a motiva??o para aprender matem?tica antes e depois da experi?ncia.
