Resumo: | This study aimed to analyze the fluctuation of scarab beetles degrading wood in areas of native forest fragment, and stands of Eucalyptus urophylla with and without action of burned, all located in the National Forest Mario Xavier, in Serop?dica, RJ, during the period of August 2011 to august 2012. To capture the insects were used traps of impact type Carvalho- 47, 1.20 m from the ground and a distance of at least 50 meters between themselves, were three traps in each area, totaling nine traps Samplings were performed weekly, after each collection was made the identification by family of insects caught. In the colonization of Eucalyptus urophylla who suffered action of burned the number of insects captured in the first collections was low, but after seven months, registered the largest number of insects collected in relation to the areas of native forest and Eucalyptus urophylla without action of queimada, mainly of the subfamily Scolytinae. Within the stand of Eucalyptus urophylla which does not suffered fire action, since the first collections were captured a high number of insects mainly the subfamily Scolytinae, which proves the influence of fire on entomofauna site. |

Para capturar os insetos foram usadas armadilhas de impacto tipo Carvalho-47, a 1,20 m do solo e uma dist?ncia de pelo menos 50 metros entre si, foram tr?s armadilhas em cada ?rea, totalizando nove armadilhas. Foram realizadas coletas semanais, ap?s cada coleta era feita a identifica??o por fam?lia dos insetos capturados. No povoamento de Eucalyptus urophylla que sofreu a??o de queimada o n?mero de insetos capturados nas primeiras coletas foi baixo, mas ap?s sete meses, registrou-se o maior n?mero de insetos coletados em rela??o ?s ?reas de mata atl?ntica e Eucalyptus urophylla sem a??o de queimada, principalmente da subfam?lia Scolytinae.
