Efeito de desbastes no diâmetro das árvores de um reflorestamento de Pinus taeda L. no municipio de Bom Retiro – SC

Resumo: O estudo teve como objetivo analisar o efeito de diferentes intensidades de desbaste, no desenvolvimento dos diâmetros das árvores de um povoamento de Pinus taeda L. no município de Bom Retiro, SC. Os dados utilizados para este estudo provem de um inventário florestal, englobando duas intensidades de desbaste e uma área onde não houve desbaste (testemunha). Comparou-se o desenvolvimento dos diâmetros desses três estratos utilizando-se o teste t. Os resultados mostraram diferença significativa entre a testemunha e as duas intensidades de desbaste. Entretanto, a diferença observada entre os diâmetros apresenta valores modestos, em função da idade do povoamento e do último desbaste realizado. Sugere-se o aprofundamento dos estudos visando estimar nível de retorno econômico oriundo do acréscimo de volume promovido pelos desbastes.

The data used for this study come from a forest inventory, emboding two intensity of thinning and an area where it did not have thinning (witness). The development of the diameters of these was compared three stratus using itself test t. The results had shown to significant difference between the witness and the two intensity of thinning. However, the difference observed between the diameters presents modest values, in function of the age of the plantation and the last carried through thinning.
