Primary Health Care is guided by the principles of universality, accessibility, coordination, completeness and continuity of care, humanization, equity and social participation, being strengthened by the creation of the Family Health Strategy. The Family Health Support Center aims to expand the resolution, territoriality and regionalization of the actions carried out by the Family Health Strategy. The present study aimed to characterize the physiotherapists inserted in the expanded nuclei of family health and basic care in municipalities of Sergipe. This is a quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study carried out among the ten most populous Sergipe municipalities with Physiotherapists in their NASF-AB teams, four of whom were excluded. The data collection was done by electronic means using two questionnaires, one socioeconomic and the other adapted from the study of Fernandes et al. (2016). The final sample consisted of thirteen physiotherapists from six municipalities, showing that the majority are young, white, female adults from Aracaju, with a family income of two to five minimum wages, without sufficient knowledge for the performance of their activities in the hiring act This lack of knowledge about the NASF and the precariousness in the provision of training can cause insecurities regarding the development of activities.
