The globallized market requires the overcome of challenges, by the companies, in order to compete and, therefore, estimulates the search for strategies that guarantee leadership in their respective segments. In this context, logistics has been a differential for these companies. Logistic activities involve the delivery, reception, movement and transportation of products from the company to the customer, covering the entire supply chain. That said, this paper aims to propose improvements to the main problems in the shipment flows of the mining company Mosaic Fertilizantes. Field research, simulation and modeling were used as technical procedures, characterizing the research in quantitative-qualitative (combined) with regard to the approach of the problem, descriptive in relation to the objectives and applied for its purpose. Regarding the results, the cause and effect diagram provided the pinpointing of the main problems that were hindering the loading and weighing efficiency of the trucks, improvements were then proposed and three scenarios were suggested, which were tested with the Arena software. Scenario three has presented the best results regarding waiting times in the queues and the vehicle time in the unit, since it has indicated to reallocate the scales to strategic locations, one at the entrance of the unit and the other at the exit gate. It was also proposed the reposition of the decontaminators, and the inspection to happen just after the entrance gate and the enloners near the exit scale. Likewise, it was also recommended to enlarge the storage shed to share the loading of the Big Bag with the other products (granular and bran) beyond the opening of an exit gate. For the currently scales location, it's being suggested to turn it into a waiting patio. It is concluded that the proposed improvements are fundamental to increase the efficiency of the loading and weighing processes of the trucks. Nonetheless, there are problems that transpose the operational aspects of logistics flows, requiring a greater interaction of the company's human resources sector, in the sense of creating strategies for improving the organizational climate and the working conditions.
