This work describes the proposal of a network architecture applied to Domotics. This network implements the concepts of Internet of Things and Service Oriented Architecture. The network elements, as well as their communication, was analyzed, discussed and designed. It was implemented a case study to demonstrate inpractice the proposed architecture. The objectives were successfully achieved, the nodes of the network are designed and analyzed, the communication was discussed and the case study work as expected. The total cost did was considered inexpensive since there was four nodes acquired, one border, one master and two locals, beyond the cost of the wireless modules and components to the local nodes. The work, besides exploring unsolved problems in the proposed concepts, provides a network deployment that can be replicated in other studies and thus enable other projects to be implemented with a reduced cost.
