Condições acústicas no trabalho musical: um embate entre músicos e outsiders

Resumo: | This article brings some results of a master's research, whose main objective was to investigate the work relationships with music in the city of Aracaju. For this text, however, a specific cut is made about the acoustic conditions at work and their implications for musical performance. Supported by the concept of “Outsider” by Becker (2009) and “way of relating to music” by Campos (2007), I seek to show how the incomprehension of certain people – non-musicians – interferes in the choice of sound and the mode of interpretation, which generates conflicts and, many times, physical injuries for singers and instrumentalists. For that, I use the ethnographic form and the idea of “minimum otherness” by Peirano (1999). |
