Consulta de enfermagem em quimioterapia antineoplásica : validação de instrumento de coleta de dados

Introduction: Cancer is considered a public health problem, especially in developing countries such as Brazil. Among the treatment alternatives, chemotherapy is the most used, but the impairment in quality of life and the follow-up of therapy caused by adverse reactions to chemotherapy, requires the multidisciplinary health team to develop comprehensive care aimed at prevention and control. of these reactions. Objective: To validate the content and appearance of a data collection instrument for the first nursing consultation with adult and elderly patients undergoing antineoplastic chemotherapy. Method: a methodological study with a quantitative approach, developed in two steps: review of the data collection instrument for nursing consultation for adults and elderly in antineoplastic chemotherapy according to the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association, taxonomy II, version 2015- 2017 and assumptions of Dorothea Orem's Theory, and validation of this instrument with the participation of nine judges in the first round and four judges in the second round according to Delphi technique. In the first step to review the instrument, the theoretical basis, Dorothea Orem Self-Care Deficit Theory, and the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association, taxonomy II, nursing classification system were used. The theoretical dimensions of the instrument were based on the concepts of theory self-care requirements that were subdivided into five topics. For validation we used a semi-structured questionnaire developed in an online tool and was considered greater agreement equal to 80%, which was analyzed through the content validation index and binomial test. Results: in the first round topics I and II also obtained a content validity index of 88.9% for clarity / comprehension, topic III of the instrument obtained a content validity index of 88.9% for appearance and content validity index lower than stipulated (78%) for clarity / comprehension and topic IV obtained 88.9% for content. The entire instrument was reevaluated for the second round. The instrument was validated in the second round with 100% agreement, Scale-level Contente Validity Index, Averange Calculation Method = 1 and Scalelevel Contente Validity Index of content validation of 1 (p <0.001). Conclusion: the instrument was considered valid in appearance and content by the judges.
