Resumo: This paper aims to analyze the knowledge production of the Postgraduate Program in Social Work at the Federal University of Sergipe (PROSS/UFS), in 2019, through the dissertations defended in the two lines of research of the Program. It is an exploratory research, with a qualitative approach, using bibliographical and documental research, whose analysis is based on the historical-dialectical materialist method. Through a survey carried out on the PROSS/UFS website, we sought to identify the themes, lines of research and objects of study of the dissertations defended in 2019. Ten dissertations were found, equally distributed between the research lines “Work, Professional Training and Social Service” and “Social Policies, Social Movements and Social Service”. These dissertations address the themes of work, gender, education, ethical political project of Social Work, environment, health and Gramscian categories, referenced in Marx's social theory.

Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, de abordagem qualitativa, com uso de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, cuja análise está fundamentada no método materialista histórico-dialético. Por meio de levantamento realizado no site da PROSS/UFS, buscou-se identificar as temáticas, as linhas de pesquisas e os objetos de estudo das dissertações defendidas, em 2019. Foram encontradas dez dissertações distribuídas de forma igual entre as linhas de pesquisa “Trabalho, Formação Profissional e Serviço Social” e “Políticas Sociais, Movimentos Sociais e Serviço Social”.
