Medicinal plants have a great influence on the health care of the population. This is due to the fact that phytotherapy is part of the population's culture, being used and very widespread for many generations. The project TecendoSaberes on Medicinal Plants of the Federal University of Sergipe in partnership with the Popular Movement of Health (MOPS) and agreed with the Municipal Health Department of the city of Aracaju has as main objective the integration between popular and academic knowledge through. To train community health agents and UBS users through workshops, lectures, talk wheels, theaters on medicinal plants in four scenarios of (UBS), Eunice Barbosa (UBS), Manoel de Souza Pereira (UBS) and the Psychosocial Attention Center (CAPS) Jael Patrício de Lima. Thirty students were trained to work with medicinal plants in primary care. With regard to the training of community health agents (ACS), 60 ACS were trained on the rational use of medicinal plants, good practices of home preparations. Thirty CAPS users participated in the activities, besides the structure of the Live Pharmacy in a health unit. The use of medicinal plants is a common practice among health users, it is observed the need for actions that promote rational use, strengthening the link between the user and the health unit
