Tecendo reflexões entre educação e saúde: a preceptoria e a formação graduada em Terapia Ocupacional no estado de Sergipe

Resumo: Since the 1980s, with the creation of the Unified Health System (Sistema Único de Saúde, in Portuguese) and its responsibility for ordering the formation of human resources in the health area, the figure of the preceptor in higher education emerges. Regulated in the national curricular directives of the health training courses, the role of the preceptor has been studied and discussed in the scope of Education and Health. Following national guidelines, the Occupational Therapy courses, from the interface with the clinic and practice in the field of health, adds the educational guidance as an important ally of practical activities. The objective of this paper was to contextualize the educational guidance activity with the Occupational Therapy course (OT) of the Federal University of Sergipe, Lagarto campus (UFS / Lag). For that, a qualitative exploratory study was proposed, with the use of surveys structured through Google Forms, considering as participants seven preceptors of the undergraduate course in OT of UFS / Lag. It can be observed a heterogeneous profile among the preceptors regarding the time of exercise of this function and post-graduation, besides an expressive demand for training in the specifics of the field of expertise of Occupational Therapy and the pedagogical formation, since these comprise such function as education. It is concluded that this research, although being a small sample, managed to reach its objectives providing important reflections for higher education and in the graduate training in Occupational Therapy.

Regulamentados nas diretrizes curriculares nacionais dos cursos de formação em saúde, o “lugar” do preceptor tem sido estudado e discutido no âmbito da Educação e da Saúde. Seguindo orientações nacionais, os cursos de Terapia Ocupacional, a partir da interface com a clínica e a prática no campo da saúde, agrega a preceptoria como importante aliado das atividades práticas. O objetivo deste trabalho foi contextualizar a atividade de preceptoria junto ao curso de Terapia Ocupacional (TO) da Universidade Federal de Sergipe, campus Lagarto (UFS/Lag). Para tanto, foi proposto um estudo qualitativo de caráter exploratório, com o uso de questionários estruturados por meio do Google Forms, considerando como participantes sete preceptores do curso de graduação em TO da UFS/Lag. Pode-se observar um perfil heterogêneo entre os preceptores quanto ao tempo de exercício desta função e pós-graduação, além de uma expressiva demanda por formação nas especificidades do campo de atuação da Terapia Ocupacional e a formação pedagógica, visto que estes compreendem tal função como educativa.
