Um olhar etnoarqueológico: catadores tradicionais de moluscos, da comunidade do Povoado Pastora, Município de Laranjeiras-SE

Since prehistory, human groups have already explored the aquatic environments, through fishing activities, the collection of crustaceans and molluscs for their subsistence; this practice are still observed in the present, of great importance for the survival of riverside or coastal population. The objective of this research, through the ethnoarchaeological bias, seeks information on the instruments used to capture molluscs and crustaceans, techniques for collecting, discarding the shells, transporting the collected product, participating in the activities of collecting shellfish from the shellfishers of the Pastora Village, located in the municipality of Laranjeiras SE, to infer possible similarities between the traditional knowledge of present-day shellfishers and pre-historic shellfish groups. We focused our contrast with sambaqueiira population, using the set of studies of researchers, who developed work in these coastal groups, with the intention of better interpreting the operative chain of the subsistence activities of this sambaquis construction population. Comparing the obtained data, with the operative chain of the subsistence strategy of sambaquieiros groups, described in the academic literature, that works the same theme, we found similarity in the operative chain of the extractive activities of the molluscs, of the shellfishers of the Pastora Village; the similarities, are related to the collection strategies, instruments, transport, techniques, and processing of molluscs.
