Resumo: Objective: To evaluate the clinical and functional profile of individuals with neurodegenerative diseases at the Lagarto Physiotherapy Clinic - SE. Methods: The sample consisted of 25 individuals with neurodegenerative diseases. Initial assessment was performed using a Functional Kinesiological Assessment form (FKA). Functional capacity was assessed using the Functional Independence Measure (FIM), static and dynamic balance using the Berg Balance Scale and the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test, respectively. Sensitivity was assessed using the esthesiometer and then individuals were classified in the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). Data analysis was performed using Bioestat 5.3 software Continuous variables were expressed as mean and standard deviation and correlations by simple linear regression using Spearman's correlation coefficient. A significance level of 95% (p <0.05) was considered. Results: The individuals in this study had a higher prevalence of sensory changes in L2-L5 dermatomes (21%). Regarding the level of functional independence, the mean obtained in the FIM was 111.5 points. Regarding environmental factors, in ICF, qualifier 4 (complete facilitator) was the most prevalent among individuals. Regarding balance, the mean obtained through the Berg Balance Scale was 41.5 points. Four subjects failed the Timed "Up & Go" (TUG) test and among the individuals who completed the test, a mean of 37 seconds was obtained. A strong correlation was found between the Functional Independence Measure (FIM) scale and the Berg Balance Scale (rs = 0.67); and a negative regular correlation between the FIM and the Timed "Up & Go" (TUG) test on the walking individuals (-0.53). Conclusion: In this study, it was possible to verify sensory alterations in common areas of the body, and it was possible to observe a decrease in the functional independence of the individuals. Most of the participants indicated the Environmental Factors as facilitators in their lives. There was a strong correlation between the MIF and the BERG scales, showing that the activities and functional capacities evaluated in the two scales are similar and relate to the patient's functionality and balance and that among those who were able to perform, it was observed that these individuals required on average longer than usual.
