The presente work has as its main goal to destribe the activities accomplished at the Required Supervised Internship, as well as describing the electrocardiographic characteristics in animals from particular clinics in the city of Aracaju-SE. The electrocardiographic exam is frequenly requested at the veterinary medical routine. nevetheless, there are discussions about the need of this exam in certain profiles of patients such as puppies, young and adult animals who don’t exhibit alterations during clinical exam. To investigate the need of the mentioned exam in a variety of patiens, a research about the electrocardiographic alterations of 102 domiciled dogs residing in Aracaju-SE has been conducted, Where many parameters were observed, such as cardiac rate, amplitude and duration of P wave, amplitude and duration of QRS complex, amplitude of T wave, PQ interval, QT interval, ST segment elevation, ST segment depression, QRS electric axis. It was also researched if these alterations have correlations with age, sex, weight and breed of the animal, using the logistic regression method.
