The objective of this article is to analyze the process of formation and consolidation of the integralist movement in Sergipe, focusing on the strategies and political actions of intellectuals from Sergipe and the handwritten speeches delivered by integralists in the state. Therefore, the historical context of the 1930s, characterized by the rise of authoritarian and nationalist ideas, will be taken into account. The study aimed to understand the proposal and functioning of the integralist organization. Additionally, five handwritten speeches delivered by members of the Brazilian Integralist Action in Sergipe were analyzed and transcribed. The chosen speeches enable the understanding of the fundamental principles within the organizational structure of the movement. These documents are safeguarded at the Public Archive of Sergipe (APES). Finally, we seek to comprehend the emergence of Integralism and the reasons that led so many Brazilians to join the fascist movement.
