The objective of this study was mapping technology offerings of the Federal University of Sergipe for the development of a technology information system able to meet the technological demands of companies in this State. Technological offerings were mapped from an exploratory research with 619 researchers from the campus São Cristóvão between 2013 and 2014, through pre-scheduled interviews and institutional database. They identified 275 research projects that explore the potential of marketing possibilities, especially in the areas Engineering 132 (48%), Exact and Earth Sciences 69 (25.09%) and Agricultural Sciences 64 (23.27%). Moreover, 48 records of patents granted by the National Institute of Industrial Property (NIIP), which are related to these areas confirm the potential of the institution researchers to generate of new products, processes and services technological. Thus, can be promote the transfer inducing actions of these technologies to the business sector, in which all rights are achieved and developed innovation provides benefits for all stakeholders.
