Resumo: Com a séria intenção de refutar o fundamento de todas as filosofias que têm a pretensão de produzir um discurso verdadeiro sobre a estrutura da realidade, Górgias desenvolve suas três famosas teses: Nada é; Ainda que fosse, seria incognoscível; Ainda que fosse cognoscível, seria incomunicável. Górgias é o primeiro a perceber o caráter problemático na noção de ser e os problemas de conhecimento e linguagem derivados disto._________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT: With the serious purpose of refuting the foundations of all philosophies that have the pretension of making an true discourse on the structure of reality, Gorgias develops his tree famous thesis: Nothing is; Even if it was, it could not be knowable; Even if it was knowable, it could not be communicated. Gorgias is the first to recognize the problematic character of the notion of being and the problems of knowledge and language derived from this.
