The present paper addresses the study about the urban and landscape restructure of na abandoned quarry in Laranjeiras’s city, Sergipe. The degraded area where before there was a mining activity is currently an urban void that causes negative impacts for both the locals and for the city. So, it was necessary to understand the geography of the place, developing a mapping and analysis of the area, with application interviews and photographic records, producing graphics and data elements for possible guidelines to be applied on site. We had the basis of case studies, some related projects or to work the question of how the population has appropriated the space and the project's relationship with the landscape. Finally, it was shown how they will be scenarios in space under study: if there is no intervention and other scenario if there is intervention. Thus, guidelines were defined in order to create an urban park in the area of the quarry Orange.
