Resumo: This study presents as the main foundation of ergonomics to work to the worker's adaptation. This context includes any and every individual's relationship with the environment, equipment, and the solution of the problems that stem from this relationship. It is evident in the literature range of performance the ergonomic practices therefore becomes important to point out the benefits that this disciplinary science adds the production process. The main objective of this article is to point within different sectors in which occurs the ergonomics intervention, the benefits of applying its methods in the production process.
