Resumo: This article aims to improve quality by determining the main problems in the hot-dip galvanizing line, which cause process inefficiency and therefore an increase in production costs in a company that is dedicated to the galvanizing of iron materials to be used in different applications. The application of quality and production elements is carried out, these being; Problem prioritization matrix, the process SIPOC, plus the Process Matrix using the QFD method. Through them it was possible to identify that the high consumption of zinc in the process line, the variability of the coating layer of the galvanized material and the dissatisfaction of customers due to deliveries of products out of specification are the main problems presented in the organization; In addition, there are analysis tables, flowcharts for a better understanding of the process and cases.

Se efectúa la aplicación de elementos de calidad y producción, siendo estos; Matriz de priorización de problemas, el SIPOC de proceso, además la Matriz de Proceso mediante el método QFD.
