Educação e saúde: variação no uso dos conceitos

Resumo: Education and Health are areas of knowledge composed of confluence or intersection subareas known as education and health, health education, health education, health in education, health education, and professional health education. The objective of this work is to carry out an initial problematization about the use of these terms. The methodology used was a bibliographic review of the terms under study, including two articles on the use of the above terms in papers published in the editions of EDUCON. We found that the terms "Education and Health" and "Health Education" are considered synonyms. About "Health Education" there is a consensus and these are educational actions aimed at the training of professionals to work in the health area. Including the expression "Professional Education in Health". And that "Education for health", characterized as content transfer without the active participation of the apprentices.

O objetivo deste trabalho é, realizar uma problematização inicial acerca da utilização destes termos. A metodologia utilizada foi uma revisão bibliográfica dos termos objeto de estudo, incluindo dois artigos sobre a utilização dos termos acima em trabalhos publicados nas edições do EDUCON. Verificamos que os termos “Educação e Saúde” e “Educação em saúde”, são considerados sinônimos. Sobre “Educação na saúde” há um consenso e se trata de ações educativas direcionadas à formação dos profissionais para a atuação na área da saúde. Compreendendo inclusive a expressão a “Educação Profissional em Saúde”.
