Resumo: | “Amor América (1400)”, first poem by Canto general (1950), an epic poem written by the Chilean Pablo Neruda, symbolically links the American being with love; “PátriAmérica”, on the other hand, a poem located in the middle of Latinomérica (2001), by the Brazilian Marcus Accioly, is a declaration of the American continent as one integrated homeland. Both works centralize the story in Latin America, treating it as a community and establishing dialogues between their countries; thus, starting from this perception, this thesis aims to study the constitution of its corpora considering both geographical and historical contents, through categories, elements and number of occurrences, in order to arrive at identity traits indicative of the existence of a Latin American transnation, in which the perspective of openness and enlargement, as well as union and sharing, goes beyond national borders. Therefore, Comparative Literature was established as a theoretical and critical field, because cultural relations in Latin America have been expanded by comparativism, and promoting dialogue between epic poems is part of the scope of this study; in addition, as methodological procedures characterized as pure basic, with qualitative and quantitative focus and exploratory objective, the following were adopted: searches for materials – books and academic texts – on the internet about poems, poets and themes related to the epic poetry; readings of the epics, mapping and calculation of the number of referents, with the subsequent division into categories and the production of tables; besides to the study of cutouts – verses and stanzas – from a raised framework. The elaboration of the analyzes demanded the use of references from different theoretical and critical aspects and areas of knowledge, such as Geography, History, Social Sciences, with a focus on Latin American scholars and intellectuals, privileging a locus of enunciation literarily constructed in the region; in addition, , historical and cultural approaches of Latin America and Brazil as texts on conquest, colonization, the invention of the continent, miscegenation, dictatorships, underdevelopment, integration, and, of course, literature and others themes. It was possible, through the operationalization of concepts such as identity, transnation, epos, heroism and anti-heroism, Pátria Grande, cosmic race, people, to create a representation of Latin Americanity as a symbolic system that, in Canto general and Latinomérica, is mobilized to establish identification between countries based on the sharing of common historical realities (such as the conquest, the colonial system and the military regimes) and geographical contiguity, as also the inversion between the position of the losers and winners of official History, in a revisionism that puts those in evidence, especially individualized heroes and the people, the collective subject/hero, to whom poets, transfigured into the I-lyrical/narrators, listen and for whom they speak. With this, the character of struggle, resistance and hope stands out, which leads to think Latin America, from Neruda and Accioly, as a union of nations, but, above all, as a single motherland, a transnation, which, in addition to of the integration projects, it is expressed by the sign of geo-historical unity in the two epic poems, so our contribution towards valuing both the epic genre and the inter-American relations through Literature. |

Ambas obras centralizan el reporte en América Latina, tratándola como una comunidad y estableciendo diálogos entre sus países; entonces, a partir de esa percepción, esta tesis tiene como objetivo estudiar la constitución del plan histórico de las obras corpora en cuanto a su contenido geográfico e histórico, a través de categorías, elementos y número de ocurrencias, para llegar a rasgos de identidad indicativos de la existencia de una transnación latinoamericana, en que la perspectiva de apertura y ampliación, así como de unidad y compartir, va más allá de las fronteras nacionales. Para ello, se estableció la Literatura Comparada como campo teórico y crítico porque las relaciones culturales en América Latina se han ampliado por el comparativismo, y promover el diálogo entre poemas épicos es parte del alcance de este estudio; además, como procedimientos metodológicos en esta investigación, que se puede caracterizar como básica pura, con enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo y objetivo exploratorio, se adoptaron los siguientes: búsquedas de materiales – libros y textos académicos – en internet sobre poemas, poetas y temas relacionados con la épica; lecturas de las epopeyas, cartografía y cálculo del número de referentes, con la posterior división en categorías y elaboración de tablas; además del estudio de recortes – versos y estrofas – desde un marco teórico planeado. En cuanto a la elaboración de los análisis, esto demandó el uso de referencias de diferentes vertientes teóricos y críticos y áreas del conocimiento, como Geografía, Historia, Ciencias Sociales, con enfoque en académicos e intelectuales latinoamericanos, privilegiando un lugar de enunciación construido literariamente en la región; además, se utilizaron historias de América Latina y Brasil, textos acerca de conquista, colonización, invención del continente, mestizaje, dictaduras, subdesarrollo, integración y, por supuesto, Literatura y otros temas. Se logró, mediante la operacionalización de conceptos como identidad, transnacionalidad, epos, heroísmo y anti heroísmo, Patria Grande, raza cósmica, pueblo, generar una representación de la latinoamericanidad como sistema simbólico que, en el Canto general y Latinomérica, se moviliza para establecer una identificación entre países basada en el intercambio de realidades históricas comunes (como la conquista, el sistema colonial y los regímenes militares) y la contigüidad geográfica, así como la inversión entre la posición de los perdedores y los ganadores de la Historia oficial, en un revisionismo que pone en evidencia, especialmente a los héroes individualizados y al pueblo, el sujeto/héroe colectivo, a quien los poetas, transfigurados en los yoes lírico/narradores, escucha y por quien hablan. Con ello se destaca el carácter de lucha, resistencia y esperanza, que lleva a pensar a América Latina, desde Neruda y Accioly, como una unión de naciones, pero, sobre todo, como un solo país, una transnación, que además de los proyectos de integración, se expresa en el signo de unidad geohistórica en las dos epopeyas, de ahí nuestra contribución a la valoración tanto del género épico como de las relaciones interamericanas a través de la literatura.“Amor América (1400)”, primeiro poema de Canto general (1950), epopeia escrita pelo chileno Pablo Neruda, vincula simbolicamente o ser americano com o amor; já “PátriAmérica”, poema em meados da epopeia Latinomérica (2001), do brasileiro Marcus Accioly, é uma declaração de integração do continente americano como pátria una. As duas obras centralizam o relato na América Latina, tratando-a como comunidade e estabelecendo diálogos entre seus países; assim, partindo dessa percepção, esta tese objetiva estudar a constituição do plano histórico das obras corpora quanto a seu conteúdo geográfico e histórico, por meio de categorias, elementos e quantidade de ocorrências, de modo a chegar a traços identitários indicativos da existência de uma transnação latino-americana, na qual a perspectiva de abertura e alargamento, bem como de união e partilha, se dirige para além das fronteiras nacionais. Para tanto, estabeleceu-se como campo teórico-crítico a Literatura Comparada, pois as relações culturais na América Latina têm se ampliado a partir do comparativismo, e promover o diálogo entre os poemas épicos faz parte do escopo deste estudo; ademais, como procedimentos metodológicos nesta pesquisa, que pode ser caracterizada como básica pura, com enfoque qualitativo e quantitativo e objetivo exploratório, foram adotados os seguintes: buscas de materiais – livros e textos acadêmicos – na internet sobre os poemas, os poetas e temas relacionados ao épico; leituras das epopeias, mapeamento e cálculo de quantidade de referentes, com a posterior divisão em categorias e a produção de quadros; além do estudo dos recortes – versos e estrofes – a partir de referencial levantado. Quanto à elaboração das análises, isso demandou a utilização de referenciais de diferentes vertentes teórico-críticas e áreas do conhecimento, como Geografia, História, Ciências Sociais, com foco em estudiosos/as e intelectuais latino-americanos/as, privilegiando um lócus de enunciação literariamente construído na região; além disso, fez-se uso de histórias da América Latina e do Brasil, de textos sobre a conquista, a colonização, a invenção do continente, a mestiçagem, as ditaduras, o subdesenvolvimento, a integração, além, claro, da Literatura e outros temas. Foi possível, por meio da operacionalização de conceitos como identidade, transnação, epos, heroísmo e anti-heroísmo, Pátria Grande, raça cósmica, povo, criar uma representação da latino-americanidade como sistema simbólico que, em Canto general e Latinomérica, é mobilizado para estabelecer a identificação entre os países a partir do compartilhamento de realidades históricas comuns (como a conquista, o sistema colonial e os regimes militares) e da contiguidade geográfica, como também se nota a inversão entre a posição dos vencidos e vencedores da História oficial, num revisionismo que coloca aqueles em evidência, especialmente heróis individualizados e o povo, o sujeito/herói coletivo, a quem os poetas, transfigurados nos eus líricos/narradores, ouvem e por quem falam.
