Resumo: The Metropolitan Cathedral of Aracaju and your eclectic architectural style contributed greatly to the development both in the religious and cultural spheres of the Sergipe capital, which was in a phase of urban growth. The Religious Temple and its surroundings were a space of leisure, fun and social convergence, that is, a kind of meeting point for the Sergipe population, more specifically for the aracajuans, because between the thirties and forties, this era the place where the main religious festivals took place, and the cultural presentations in which the families went to participate in the shade of the Metropolitan Cathedral, masses, processions, and just after the final blessing, gathered to enjoy the festive and relaxed atmosphere. O templo religioso e seus arredores eram o espaço de lazer, diversão e convergência social, ou seja, uma espécie de ponto de encontro para população sergipana, mais especificamente para os aracajuanos, pois entre a década de trinta e a década de quarenta, esse era o local onde aconteciam as principais festas de cunho religioso, e as apresentações culturais em que as famílias iam participar à sombra da Sé Metropolitana, das missas, procissões, e logo após a benção final, se reuniam para desfrutar do ambiente festivo e descontraído.
