Resumo: | Modern organizations coexist with the constant need to interact with the environment in which they are inserted. Therefore, they must, necessarily, have a cadre of skillful and competent employees, for their full functioning and performance. ARH is respon-sible for integrating people into companies, and this integration comprises recruit-ment and selection processes. Recruitment is the activity of attracting qualified can-didates for a position, and it is the discretion of recruiters to choose the source to be recruited whether internal (own company) or external (MRH). Already the selection, defines the candidate that most suits the profile of the vacancy, is like a "sort of filter", where only the most competent passes. The selection techniques are various, and they change according to the level of the position (interviews, knowledge and ability tests, psychological tests, personality tests and simulation tests). This paper sets out to describe the techniques of recruitment and selection of pastors in the Evangelical Church of the Assemblies of God. For this, the research method used was the quali-tative and descriptive case study, of a basic nature. The technique of data collection applied was an interview, addressed to the Pr. President of said church. The study showed that although it is a non-profit religious institution and that it does not deal with the competition issue in such an astute manner as the commercial companies, it has been concluded that IEAD has a recruitment and selection process simple, yet well-defined, and even using resources offered by science as some selection tech-niques (interviews, knowledge tests and skills) as well as evaluation activities of the recruitment and selection process. Recruitment is essentially internal due to the pe-culiarities of the organization. At the end of the work, some suggestions were given, such as: conducting other researches, not only listening to the institution, but also the side of the faithful, so that they can think about what they consider to be an efficient and effective pastor. Therefore, this feedback will be of great help to administrators. And future research was also proposed to different religious groups (other Pentecos-tals, Baptists, Adventists, Lutherans, others) to compare their recruitment and sele-tion processes, identifying differences and similarities. |

Por isso, elas precisam, obrigatoriamente, ter um quadro de colaboradores habilidosos e competentes, para o seu pleno funcio-namento e desempenho. A ARH é a responsável por integrar pessoas às empresas, e essa integração compreende os processos de recrutamento e seleção. O recruta-mento é a atividade de atrair candidatos qualificados para a disputa por um cargo, e, fica a critério dos recrutadores a escolha da fonte a ser recrutada se interna (própria empresa) ou externa (MRH). Já a seleção, define o candidato que mais atende ao perfil da vaga, é como uma “espécie de filtro”, onde só passa o mais competente. As técnicas de seleção são várias, e elas mudam conforme o nível do cargo (entrevis-tas, provas de conhecimento e capacidade, testes psicológicos, testes de personali-dade e testes de simulação). Este trabalho se propôs a descrever as técnicas de recrutamento e seleção de pastores na Igreja Evangélica Assembleia de Deus. Para isso, o método de pesquisa utilizado foi o estudo de caso com caráter qualitativo e descritivo, de natureza básica. A técnica de coleta de dados aplicada foi uma entre-vista, dirigida ao Pr. Presidente da referida igreja. O estudo mostrou que, embora se trate de uma instituição religiosa, sem fins lucrativos, e que não lida com a questão da concorrência de maneira tão perspicaz, como as empresas comerciais, pôde-se concluir que a IEAD possui um processo de recrutamento e seleção simples, porém, bem definido, e inclusive, utiliza-se de recursos oferecidos pela ciência como algu-mas técnicas de seleção (entrevistas, provas de conhecimento e capacidades) e também atividades de avaliação do processo de recrutamento e seleção. O recruta-mento é, essencialmente, interno, devido às peculiaridades da organização. Ao final do trabalho foram dadas algumas sugestões como: a realização de outras pesquisas ouvindo, não apenas o lado da instituição, mas também o lado dos fiéis para que eles opinem sobre o que consideram ser um pastor eficiente e eficaz. Sendo assim, esse feedback será de grande ajuda para os administradores.
