A leitura infantil : uma análise dos projetos e ações desenvolvidas na Biblioteca Pública Infantil de Sergipe

This research is a work of conclusion of course that has as main theme the children's reading. Its general objective is to analyze the contribution of the cultural action projects developed in the Biblioteca Pública Infantil de Sergipe to encourage reading; has as specific objectives: to identify in these projects the actions / activities developed; map the actions / activities of these projects; analyze these actions / activities. In its composition it presents an analysis of seven cultural action projects developed in the period between 2007 and 2017 in the Biblioteca Pública Infantil de Sergipe. The methodology adopted was documentary research, complemented by bibliographical research, descriptive research and exploratory research; had a qualitative-quantitative approach. After analyzing and discussing the results, they pointed out a representative number of actions / activities that were developed in favor of reading. The reading projects and their actions reached the readers by the activities contained in the composition of the same ones, being able to emphasize the storytelling, theater, workshops and the exhibitions. The flagship was the project "1,2,3 ... Once upon a time" with 16 actions / related activities, the most developed action / activity was the storytelling with 91 occurrences, according to the annual reports used. All projects have identified actions that promote reading. In this segment, it is concluded, therefore, that the reading projects developed at the Biblioteca Pública Infantil de Sergipe contribute to the development and encouragement of reading.
