Nível de estresse e ansiedade em alunos do ensino superior: comparativo entre metodologia ativa e tradicional

Resumo: | Introduction: Stress in health students is characterized as physical and emotional reactions presented when the student is overwhelmed beyond capacity. Thus, physiotherapy students entering higher education, both those who study the active methodologies and those of the traditional methodologies, go through many challenges within the teaching problem. That brings with it factors such as insecurity, course complexity, worry about the future and sense of disability that lead the individual to develop stress and anxiety. Objective: To identify the levels of stress and anxiety in physical therapy students who attend different teaching models, enrolled in the fourth year of graduation in public teaching institutions, which present active teaching-learning methodologies and traditional methodology. This is an observational descriptive and analytical study. The sample was composed by 42 students from two different universities, one offering a methodology and one traditional methodology, the data were collected through the application of questionnaires that assess the stress levels as the IDATE and LIPP - Iss where the data of the two groups were compared through the Shapiro-Wilk test and, considering the non-parametricity of these, the Mann-Whitney test was used, since the groups compared were independent (intergroup comparisons). Results: When analyzing the IDATE trace and the IDATE state among the students no significant difference was observed resulting in P> 0.05. As for lipp (ISSL), there was also no significant difference between the groups, being P> 0.05. Conclusion: Having as statistical parameters evidence - if in this study that the levels of stress and anxiety in students submitted to different methodologies are similar. |

Sendo assim, os estudantes de fisioterapia que ingressam no ensino superior, tanto os que cursam as metodologias ativas como os das metodologias tradicionais, passam por muitos desafios dentro da problemática do ensino. Que traz consigo fatores como insegurança, complexidade do curso, preocupação com o futuro e sensação de incapacidade que levam o indivíduo a desenvolver estresse e ansiedade. Objetivo: Identificar os níveis de estresse e ansiedade em alunos de fisioterapia que cursam diferentes modelos de ensino, matriculados no quarto ano da graduação em instituições públicas de ensino, que apresentam metodologias ativas de ensino-aprendizagem e metodologia tradicional. Trata-se de um estudo observacional descritivo e analítico. A amostra foi composta posta 42 discentes de duas universidades distintas, sendo que uma oferta metodologias ativas e uma oferece metodologia tradicional, os dados foram coletados por meio da aplicação de questionários que avaliam os níveis de estresse como o IDATE e LIPP – Iss onde os dados dos dois grupos foram comparados através do teste de Shapiro-Wilk e, considerando a não parametricidade destes, foi utilizado o teste de Mann-Whitney, uma vez que os grupos comparados eram independentes (comparações intergrupos). Resultados: Ao ser analisado o IDATE traço e o IDATE estado entre os alunos não foi observado diferença significativa resultando em P>0,05. Quanto ao lipp (ISSL), também não houve diferença significativa entre os grupos sendo o valor de P>0,05.
