O papel das Fundações de Apoio à Pesquisa no fomento à pesquisa no desenvolvimento de políticas sociais nos estados de Maranhão, Piauí e Ceará (2014-2016)

The text results from research that examined projects funded by Research Support Foundations between 2014 and 2016 in the states of Maranhão, Piauí and Ceará in order to identify how such foundations subsidize the production of research and the profile of researchers in the field of Social service and public-social policy. The exploratory research, with a quali-quantitative approach, used bibliographic and documental research as procedures and was based on the historical-dialectical materialist method. From their respective websites, 108 notices were identified, where the focus, resources, scientific and technological nature and which area they belonged to were analyzed. It was noted, after categorization, that the total number of notices was reduced, similarly there was a decrease in notices differentiated from public and social policy research. Subsidized by the adopted framework, this reduction is explained by the dynamics found in the challenges and dilemmas that accompany the area of Social Sciences in the contemporary S,T&I development process and the governance policy in conducting the "science policy".
