Proposta de ação para o descarte de resíduos eletroeletrônicos : um estudo na Universidade Federal de Sergipe

The present work aims to describe how the process of disposal of electrical and electronic equipment occurs through reverse logistics in the São Cristóvão campus of UFS, the specific objectives encompass the process of collecting campus equipment, packaging of equipment; incentive practices for the recycling of equipment; in addition to factors that drive or inhibit the reverse logistics process for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment. The research was classified as exploratory and descriptive, as it sought an explanation of the elements that are part of the discarding process of electrical and electronic equipment. The research method used was the case study of the qualitative type, using the interview as a source of research data. It found that there are no practices aimed at the disposal of electronic equipment. From the obtained results a proposal of action plan was elaborated with indications of measures that can be adopted by the university for the development of the description of the electrical and electronic equipments. The actions can also collaborate to reduce the negative impacts caused by the waste electrical and electronic equipment discarded in the environment, by using practices such as reuse or reinsertion of components or parts in the production process as recycled raw material.
