The present monograph consisted to identify and map the museums of Sergipe, using while analytical premise the process of construction of the Brazilian museological thought and conceptual the dynamic reflexes of these/methodological ones in the training of them to make museological sergipanos, through the contributions of the IHGSE and, above all, of José Augusto Garcez. The activity aimed at, still, by means of the accomplishment of descriptive studies of case and confection of a site, to confer visibility the sergipanas institutions with museal profile that do not meet in way the National Politics of Museums registered, co-ordinated for the Brazilian Institute of Museums (IBRAM), using the cooperations of this manuscript with seen to undertake the necessary joints, in order to mobilize the competent ways so that “uninjured” the museais spaces duly are assisted, in view of its robust parcel of contribution directed to the cultural field of our State. For in such a way, the methodological procedures that had guided the research had been extended since the bibliographical and documental survey until the accomplishment of research of field in some regions of the State, aiming at to collect information until then restricted to the verbal certifications.
