Justiça restaurativa e a educação escolar no brasil: um estado do conhecimento

Resumo: | Restorative Justice (JR) is understood as a consistent set of strategies from different ancestral peoples, used for the prevention and resolution of conflicts, considering the needs of those involved. JR's principles and values ??guide various restorative practices, which initially emerged in the field of the judiciary and spread to other areas, including education. The objective of this work was to investigate the contributions of JR and its restorative practices for school education in Brazil. We favor research with a qualitative approach, descriptive and exploratory in nature, and employ the method of bibliographic research, with characteristics of a state of knowledge. We reviewed the writings in the CAPES Theses and Dissertations Bank. The results obtained revealed that JR and its practices have enormous potential in school education, with the restorative circle being the most recurrent practice and the teachers, the main subjects involved in its application. Although the studies analyzed show little success in the implementation of JR and restorative practices at school, this is configured as a feasible possibility in the prevention, treatment and reduction of conflicts in this space, as well as contributing to the construction and strengthening of healthy relationships between subjects who in it live together. |

Os princípios e valores da JR norteiam variadas práticas restaurativas, que inicialmente, surgiram no campo do judiciário e, disseminou-se para outras áreas, inclusive a educação. O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar as contribuições da JR e suas práticas restaurativas para a educação escolar no Brasil. Privilegiamos a pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, de natureza descritiva e exploratória e, empregamos o método da pesquisa bibliográfica, com características de um estado do conhecimento. Realizamos a recensão dos escritos no Banco de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES. Os resultados obtidos revelaram que a JR e suas práticas apresentam enorme potencial na educação escolar, sendo o círculo restaurativo a prática mais recorrente e os professores, principais sujeitos envolvidos em sua aplicação.
