Resumo: | This paper describes a case study performed at a beauty salon, based on time and movement studies to determine the productive capacity of the manicure and pedicure activity through data collection and analysis of the times inherent to each step of the activity, and it is possible to optimize the process and bring greater comfort to the employee in the execution of his duties. A bibliographical review was carried out on the concepts of time and movement studies and all applications related to ergonomics and layout. Thus, based on the results, it can be seen that it is possible to optimize the salon's operation and satisfactorily meet the needs of the clients, through the application of the study carried out. |

Foi realizado ainda uma revisão bibliográfica nos conceitos de estudos de tempos e movimentos e todas as aplicações relacionadas à ergonomia e leiaute.
