Impactos da pandemia de COVID19 na síndrome de ansiedade por separação em cães: um relato

During the Mandatory Supervised Internship, two areas of professional activity and their varied activities were monitored, allowing for greater learning and experience in different fields of activity. The first carried out at the Small Animal Medical Clinic, enabled the monitoring of clinical and specialized care, assistance in outpatient procedures, complementary exams, vaccines, hospitalization routine and surgical procedures. In the second stage, the area chosen was Rural Extension, Agricultural Management and Defense, all activities were carried out remotely, as required by the ordinance issued by the Federal University of Sergipe. Reports were then prepared referring to the policies developed by the secretariat in favor of producers, survey of information on agriculture and livestock in the region, updating of agricultural data, assistance in the promotion and dissemination of events and awareness campaigns carried out by the Department of Agriculture of the Municipality of Our Lady of Glory. Given all that was followed during the internship period at the Small Animal Clinic, the theme reported in this academic work was then decided, addressing the increase in the number of cases of anxiety disorders in dogs, possible causes, diagnosis, treatment and the implications of the pandemic experienced during this period.
