Resumo: In order to increase the efficiency of water use, since this resource is limited, especiallyinsemi-arid regions, it is necessary to introduce technologies that aim to increase the efficiencyofirrigation management, responsible for the largest percentage of water withdrawal fromsprings, such as the measurement of the appropriate blade to be applied through vegetation indices. Thus, the objective was to predict the correlation of the vegetation indices with the productionandtheactual evapotranspiration of the lettuce crop subjected to water levels. Tothisend, aerophotogrammetric monitoring was performed in a lettuce production area that wasbeingsubjected to five irrigation slopes, in a striped experimental design, with five repetitions. Theplants were grown in beds with dimensions of 0.9 m wide by 2.0 m long for each plot, andthesoil was classified as PLINTOSSOLO, with the addition of tanned organic material. Theirrigation shift was intermittent, with two events per day. After the soil was turned over duringits preparation, undeformed soil samples were collected and capacitive-type soil moisturesensors were installed, which were calibrated according to the local soil to allowmonitoringofsoil moisture. Five moisture sensors were inserted, one for each irrigation blade, whichwasapplied via a drip irrigation system. The lettuce was transplanted fromseedlings 21daysafterplanting, using the spacing of 0.4 x 0.4 m, adopting all the necessary cultural treatments. Beforeplanting and weekly, drone flights were performed, obtaining RGB images, whichwereprocessed in OpenDroneMAP software and QGIs, allowing the treatment and obtainingofvegetation indices NGRDI and BGI, still, with the harvest of the plants, we proceededtodetermine the production, growth and physiological, in possession of these data, In possessionofthese data, we proceeded to the realization of the correlations of the data of the NGRDI andBGIindexes with the production data, besides the best blade of water that best performs thelettuceculture which allowed to obtain strong and significant correlation of the productiondatarealevapotranspiration with the NGRDI index, however the correlations with the BGI indexobtaineda negative correlation which shows a weak association between the variables studied. It is concluded with this study that it was possible to predict by the NGRDI index the productionandreal evapotranspiration of lettuce under water sheets using the vegetation index.
