Resumo: In this study, we mainly purpose to analyse the process of sense production by means of three discursive sequences: “Capítulo 4, versículo 3”, “Diário de um detento” and “Perifiria é periferia (em qualquer lugar)”, from the book Sobrevivendo no inferno (2018), published by Editora Companhia das Letras. This book is a printed version of the homonymous album released in 1997 by the rap group Racionais MC’s in the midst of an era marked by police violence against the peripheries of São Paulo. The work chosen to present linguistics marks that allow the discourse analyst to interpret the implicit senses, the flaws in the discourse of resistence, as well as the displacements and continuity of it. By what means does rap music “denounce” this reality? It is known that rap music influences its listeners to keep a constant watch over the actions of the State, since they represent subjects of discourse that resist to the absence of public policies. Seen in these terms, by means of Pechetian discourse analysis, we aim to understand how the corpus approaches the discourse of resistance from the 1990’s conditions of production, a time strongly remarked by massacres that raise questions regarding their executors even today; consequently, our specific aims are: to discover the 1990’s conditions of production; to identify how such a subject of discourse is ideologically influenced within its discursive formation and to verify how the subject of discourse resists the dominant ideology of a capitalist social formation. Thus, it is justified for being an influential musical group that permeates the various socioeconomis strata of society that doesn’t restrict itself to the periphery, fact that marked the national rap music and made it reach a great notability. Therefore, rap music is the periphery’s voice among the medias, it enters in diverse social spaces and reaches diverse social agents. Since our theoretical guide is the Discourse Analysis which doesn’t have a fixed and unique methodology, there are movements of interpretation by the analyst according to his contact with the corpus, the categories of analysis and as the research pregresses instead. For this purpose, we base our work on the theoretical contributions of Discourse Analysis’ main author: Michel Pêcheux (1995; 1997; 2020); besides Orlandi (2000; 2007; 2012), Maldidier (2017) and others. We assess that periphery’s subject of discourse is cleaved by a discourse of resistance and this is manifested in RacionaisEste trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar o processo de produção de sentidos por meio de sequências discursivas em três materialidades: “Capítulo 4, versículo 3”, “Diário de um detento” e “Periferia é periferia (em qualquer lugar)”, do livro Sobrevivendo no inferno (2018), lançado pela Editora Companhia das Letras, que se tornou a versão impressa do álbum musical de mesmo nome, apresentado ao público em 1997 pelo grupo de rap paulistano Racionais MC’s em uma década marcada pela violência policial em comunidades periféricas. A obra foi escolhida em decorrência de apresentar marcas linguísticas que permitem ao analista de discurso interpretar tanto os não-ditos quanto os deslizes acerca do discurso de resistência, assim como os deslocamentos e permanências desse discurso. Então, de que modo o rap “denuncia” essa realidade? Enquanto questão norteadora, é sabido que o rap influencia seus seguidores a manterem uma vigilância constante diante das ações praticadas pelo Estado, pois representa sujeitos discursivos que resistem à falta de políticas públicas. Nesse sentido, o objetivo geral busca compreender, por meio da Análise de Discurso de perspectiva pecheutiana, como o corpus aborda o discurso de resistência a partir das condições de produção dos anos 1990, marcados por chacinas que até os dias atuais levantam questionamentos acerca de seus executores; por sua vez, os objetivos específicos são: levantar as condições de produção dos anos 1990; identificar a formação discursiva desses sujeitos interpelados ideologicamente e verificar de que modo acontece a resistência do sujeito discursivo à ideologia dominante de uma formação social capitalista. Assim, justifica-se por ser um grupo musical influente e que perpassa as diversas camadas socioeconômicas da sociedade, não sendo restrito apenas à periferia, fato que marcou o movimento do rap nacional e alcançou uma notoriedade alarmante para o ritmo, portanto é a voz da periferia na mídia que adentra os diversos espaços sociais e atinge seus mais diversos agentes. Como nosso norte teórico é a AD, não se tem uma metodologia fixa e única, mas gestos de interpretação do analista de discurso no decorrer da pesquisa, do contato com o corpus e as categorias de análise. Para tanto, embasamos nosso trabalho no aporte teórico de seu principal autor: Michel Pêcheux (1995, 1997, 2020); além de Orlandi (2000, 2007, 2012), Maldidier (2017) e outros. Assim, consideramos algumas categorias que foram discutidas por Pêcheux: ideologia, formação discursiva, memória, acontecimento, interdiscurso, sentido, condições de produção e sujeito.
