Resumo: Due to the sharp growth of cities, the habitable space has become disputed, thus increasing not only the environmental impacts, but also several problems that, together with the environment in which we live, have a stage of unsustainability. In this sense, we propose to analyze the spatial landscape of the Coroa do Meio neighborhood which has undergone profound changes over the years, these changes are of a natural and social order. In this conception, when we consider a city as sustainable, it needs to be framed in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). One of the alternatives seen as a potential mediator between the human being and the environment is the development of practices that promote Environmental Education (EE). The general objective of the research was to analyze the socio-environmental conditions of the Coroa do Meio neighborhood, in particular, the community of fishermen and shellfish gatherers, applying Environmental Education practices in their daily actions. As for the specific objectives, we have: to identify the main socio-environmental impacts existing in the area of the Coroa do Meio neighborhood that contribute to local environmental degradation; develop methodological actions with the community that use the active model of approach and can raise awareness individually and collectively with the authors present in the research; finally, to elaborate a technical video documentary product presenting the main contexts addressed during the field research. Therefore, the method chosen for conducting the research was historicaldialectical materialism, which has, in essence, observing the interaction of the subject with the object in the course of the historical process. In addition, the Problematization Methodology was also used, which was directly applied in the methodological activities, namely: conversation circle, application of a semi-structured questionnaire, lecture and the "Arco de Maguerez", resulting in the need to maintain educational activities. The research made the subjects see the seriousness of the socio-environmental damage so that, later, they could follow the paths to repair. In this, we conclude that the research subjects act in a negationist way regarding the daily practices of Environmental Education. That is why the maintenance of activities that were described in the methodology and results are fundamental for the formation of environmentally sustainable subjects, as well as many others that, intentionally used in the research environment, will further strengthen the fulfillment of the 2030 agenda, as well as contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.

Neste sentido propomos analisar a paisagem espacial do bairro Coroa do Meio a qual sofreu profundas modificações ao longo dos anos, essas mudanças são de ordem natural e social. Nessa concepção, quando consideramos uma cidade como sustentável, ela precisa estar enquadrada nos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentáveis (ODS). Uma das alternativas tidas como um potencial mediador entre o ser humano e o meio ambiente é o desenvolvimento de práticas que promovam a Educação Ambiental (EA). A pesquisa teve como objetivo geral analisar as condições socioambientais do bairro Coroa do Meio, em especial, a comunidade de pescadores(as) e marisqueiros(as), aplicando práticas de Educação Ambiental em suas ações diárias. Quanto aos objetivos específicos temos: identificar os principais impactos socioambientais existentes na área do bairro Coroa do Meio que contribuem para uma degradação ambiental local; desenvolver ações metodológicas junto à comunidade que utilize o modelo ativo de abordagem e possam sensibilizar de forma individual e coletivamente com os autores presentes na pesquisa; por fim, elaborar produto técnico de vídeo documentário apresentando os principais contextos abordados durante a pesquisa de campo. Para tanto, o método escolhido para o encaminhamento da pesquisa foi o materialismo histórico-dialético que tem, em sua essência, observar a interação do sujeito com objeto no decorrer do processo histórico. Além disso, usou-se também a Metodologia da Problematização que foi diretamente aplicada nas atividades metodológicas, sendo elas: roda de conversa, aplicação de questionário semiestruturado, palestra e o “Arco de Maguerez”, resultando na necessidade da permanência de atividades educativas. A pesquisa fez com que os sujeitos enxergassem a gravidade dos danos socioambientais para que, posteriormente, eles seguissem os caminhos para reparação. Nisso, concluímos que os sujeitos da pesquisa atuam de maneira negacionista quanto às práticas cotidianas de Educação Ambiental.
