A economia criativa e suas contribuições no contexto do desenvolvimento sustentável: um estudo na Associação Comunitária União dos Estudantes e Agricultores do estado De Sergipe – UNIAGRO/SE

The intense changes that have taken place in the global economy, the increase in technological innovations and the emergence of new information and communication technologies, as well as the search for competitiveness have led to numerous changes in the way of production. In this perspective, the Creative Economy appears, whose base for its development has a model turned to the creativity, the culture, the knowledge and the intellect of the people, in the generation of work, income and sustainable development. The creative industries seek, through the potential of the individual or the collective, to produce creative goods and services that generate economic value. UNIAGRO is the object of study, as it is an institution focused on agriculture, which sought to implement a new, more viable production method. However, because it is an association and therefore does not fit the industrial model, it has become it is essential to answer the following question: how can the Community Association of Students and Farmers of the State of Sergipe - UNIAGRO - be characterized in the context of the Creative Economy, generating sustainable development in the Municipality of São Domingos Sergipe? Identifying its characteristics in the scope of the Creative Economy and analyzing the generation of sustainable development in the Municipality of São Domingos have become the main objectives of this work. The approach to the problem was qualitative, using the method of content analysis of data and information collected in the field research, whose instruments were the interview and Focus Group (FG). The results showed that UNIAGRO has characteristics of the Creative Economy and generates sustainable development for the Municipality. The associates, albeit in a timid way, started to use agricultural management practices that do not harm the environment, but also managed to exhibit more consistent and continuous economic resources.
