Resumo: Studies indicate the importance of archeology to examine society through the material remains of exhumed samples, interventions and degradation of the bones in the grave after death. The reading of archaeological human bone material allows us to interpret both the analysis of the environment in which it is associated, as the human physiological aspects. And so, through Bioarchaeology is possible to study and understand the osteological materials investigated, analyzing them through their biological analyzes on different patterns, contexts such as gender, age, height of the individual, possible and probable boneabnormalities paleopatologias and/or dental. Accordingly, the object of study of this work was the skeleton nº 105, native Archeological site Justino, which was evidenced in the 80s, on the banks of the São Francisco River between the states of Sergipe and Alagoas, through the Archaeological Project Xingó (PAX). Such research material is at the Laboratory of Bioarchaeology LABIARQ/DARQ/UFS, in which we have performed a thorough investigation at the same time to support the bibliographic research. Outlines the main objective of investigating the material and make the analyzes osteological by the methods of biological anthropology and paleopatológicas analyzes. It is a skeleton with the degree of conservation varies from fair to poor, originating from a secondary burial, male, aged 20-25 years, had height of approximately 1,60 m, presented no dental pathology, only a bone pathology in their left tibia due to mechanical wear. As main results, the analyzes undertaken show that the conservation of this skeleton, is highly fragile bones and fractures post - mortem analyzes very difficult. And so we systematize all observations developed in the analytical process to contextualize the results.
