Aldeias virtuais: o fenômeno da representação social indígena na mídia

Resumo: | Social Representations dominate social practices and, in affect, can change cultures. The dialogue with the theorical perspectives in Moscovici (2015), in this paper, epistemic contributions are made from Oliveira (2014) and Geertz (2008), pointing paths in the definitions of cultures. Based on theses contributions, an attempt in made to build a fruitful dialogue between cultural studies and possible identity formations and social representations of the subject in contemporaneity. As a corpus, we use the post on the page of the Sateré-Mawé Ingidenous Woman Association (AMISM) on the Instagram social network, which focuses on presenting an analysis based on the handcrafts made by womans associated. The Social Representation theory acts as a guide for investigating the relationships between individuals, the formation of mental images of know objects with other individuals in an external institutional unit. For the Sateré-Mawé indigenous woman of AMISM, who live in the urban context in the Manaus city, the work with the internet disseminates their products with amazon seeds, graphism, seed, among others, and seek to promote dialogue between the indigenous communities of the community with the following public expanding discussions on important agendas for the SateréMawé indigenous movement and other ethnic groups. |

Para dialogar com essa perspectiva teórica em Moscovici (2015), empreende-se, neste trabalho, aportes epistêmicos a partir de Oliveira (2014) e Geertz (2008), apontando possíveis caminhos na definição de cultura. A partir desses aportes busca-se construir um diálogo profícuo entre os estudos culturais e as possíveis formações identitárias e das representações sociais do sujeito na contemporaneidade. Como corpus, utiliza-se as postagens na página da Associação de Mulheres Indígenas Sateré-Mawé (AMISM) na rede social Instagram que tem como foco apresentar uma análise a partir dos trabalhos artesanais feitos pelas indígenas associadas. A teoria da Representação Social comporta-se como um guia de investigação das relações entre os indivíduos, a formação de imagens mentais dos objetos conhecidos e as relações exteriores desses objetos com os demais indivíduos em uma unidade institucional exterior.
