Eletrofloculação no tratamento de efluentes industriais: suporte às práticas de gestão ambiental

Resumo: The development of industrial activity generally means increasing the consumption of natural resources such as water and thus the emission of an aqueous solution without waste residues. The following is a video that fit the profile is a textile industry. In this sense, an electroflocculation is presented as an alternative treatment of tailings generated in the branch, configuring a method of electrochemical character that is based on a generation of gas bubbles (in general H2), which allows the substitution of flocculant additives. . Therefore, the present article has resulted in the efficiency of the effluent process generated for the industry in the city of Juazeiro-BA. As a result of a case study, a reduction of 95.77% in COD was observed, 93.88% in phosphorus concentration, 98.75% reduction in turbidity level, and 92.21% in the quantitative concentrate of solids and large and 99.17% of effluent clarification, on average.

Um dos seguimentos que enquadram-se nesse perfil é a indústria têxtil. Nesse sentido, a eletrofloculação apresenta-se como uma alternativa de tratamento dos rejeitos gerados no ramo, configurando-se um método de caráter eletroquímico que tem por base a geração de bolhas de gás (geralmente H2), o que possibilita a substituição dos aditivos floculantes. Logo, presente artigo teve como objetivo comprovar a eficiência do processo de eletrofloculação no tratamento de efluente gerado por uma indústria têxtil localizada na cidade de Juazeiro-BA.
