It was verified that the weekly practice of dance allowed the elderly people of the Nova Vida group the knowledge of new people, strengthening bonds of friendship, interaction and socialization, which contribute to an active aging in their physical, emotional and social aspects.O presente estudo teve como objetivo refletir sobre a percepção dos/as idosos/as do grupo Nova Vida a respeito da atividade de dança realizada no Centro de Referência da Assistência Social (CRAS) Risoleta Neves, no município de Aracaju/SE.
