Resumo: | This work applied a bibliometrics research methodology in order to carry out a systematic survey of scientific articles on the optimization of reinforced concrete slabs during the period 2016-2021. The selection of articles, among those found in the national and international databases, was obtained by filtering 288 articles in five stages established by the ProKnow-C method, where the final portfolio was composed of 13 scientific articles on the theme “optimization of reinforced concrete slabs”. The analysis allowed to detect the main authors and journals within the criteria used. The articles in the portfolio did not show a trend towards the growth of scientific production during the observed period. At the same time, a geographical origin of the selected articles was well distributed internationally, but the national production during the period was null for the criteria used during the period 2016- 2021. It was evidenced researches with the aim of reducing the environmental impact generated by construction and its cost, also highlighting the use of a new optimization method. |

A seleção dos artigos, entre os encontrados nos bancos de dados nacional e internacional, foi obtida através da filtragem de 288 artigos em cinco etapas estabelecidas pelo método ProKnow-C, onde o portfólio final foi composto por 13 artigos científicos sobre o tema “otimização de lajes em concreto armado”. A análise permitiu detectar os principais autores e periódicos dentro dos critérios utilizados. Os artigos no portfólio não demonstraram uma tendência do crescimento da produção científica durante o período observado. Ao mesmo tempo, observou-se uma origem geográfica dos artigos selecionados bem distribuída internacionalmente, porém a produção nacional durante o período se apresentou nula para os critérios utilizados durante o período de 2016-2021.
