This article presents a research on the quadrilhas juninas of the State of Sergipe. One of the biggest cultural manifestations of the State, these remain alive in the memory of the cultural tradition and active in the modern times of the 21st century. The objective of this work was to analyze how the quadrilhas juninas were consolidated in Sergipe and how, over the years, they went through the processes of change, or rather, how they were stylized. The result of the research culminated in the collection of information on the various factors that led to this stylization, among them the competitions of quadrilhas juninas, which reflect in the standardization of the juninas.
