Dentoalveolar trauma is a prevalent and consequential traumatic condition, especially when the anterior maxillary teeth are involved. When one’s oral function and aesthetics are compromised due to trauma, one’s behavior is also affected - often negatively so. Dental trauma must always be considered an emergency requiring immediate management to facilitate the repositioning of displaced teeth, to control pain effectively and to improve prognosis. In this work, we report on a patient with a history of dental trauma during childhood. While the patient received adequate dental care at the time of injury, the case evolved unsatisfactorily with the loss of the two upper central incisors. In this report, we highlighted the clinical decisions taken, which were aimed at preserving or regenerating the periodontal structures to allow for oral rehabilitation supported by osseointegrated implants.
