Resumo: | The creation of smartphone apps has been increasing in recent years. Much of this trend concerns the ability of these software to solve our everyday problems. As a result, Brazilian universities have been developing their own applications to make college life easier. For these, there is an expectation that, from adoption, users will use the mobile application satisfactorily and achieve the expected benefits. Therefore, it is essential to understand the factors that influence users to accept this new technology. Thus, this research aims to discover the influence of technology acceptance factors on the intention of using the application ‘eUFS Aluno’ by students from the São Cristóvão campus of the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). For this, we used the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which allows us to assess the acceptance of technology through the constructs external factors (visual resources and external influences), perceived utility, perceived ease of use and behavioral intention. Regarding the methodological procedures, the quantitative method of descriptive nature was adopted, through the survey research strategy with the obtaining of data through an online questionnaire. The sample used was non-probabilistic, for convenience, composed of 580 students from the São Cristóvão campus. Through factor analysis, it was concluded that utility is the most influential factor in users' decision to accept effective use of ‘eUFS Aluno' and communication between universityuser and developer-user are issues that should be addressed. consideration as they may make it difficult to use the application. In addition, it was found that there were some information demands not met by the UFS application, which concern the location of the university sectors, the occurrence of internships, objects lost on campus and the creation of a class chat. Finally, it was found that the Information Technology Superintendence (STI) development team has created a useful application that still needs to be more aligned with the needs of UFS students. |

Muito dessa tendência, diz respeito a capacidade que estes softwares têm de resolver os nossos problemas do dia a dia. Em virtude disso, universidades brasileiras têm desenvolvido seus próprios aplicativos com intuito de facilitar a vida universitária. Para estas, existe uma expectativa de que, a partir da adoção, os usuários utilizem a aplicação móvel de forma satisfatória e consigam obter os benefícios esperados. Logo, torna-se fundamental a compreensão dos fatores que influenciam os usuários aceitarem esta nova tecnologia. Dessa forma, a presente pesquisa tem como objetivo descobrir a influência dos fatores de aceitação da tecnologia para a intenção de uso do aplicativo ‘eUFS Aluno’ por parte dos discentes do campus de São Cristóvão da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS). Para isso, utilizou-se o Modelo de Aceitação de Tecnologia (TAM), que permite avaliar a aceitação da tecnologia por meio dos construtos fatores externos (recursos visuais e influências externas), utilidade percebida, facilidade de uso percebida e intenção comportamental. Quanto aos procedimentos metodológicos, foi adotado o método quantitativo de natureza descritiva, mediante a estratégia de pesquisa survey com a obtenção dos dados por meio de questionário on-line. A amostra utilizada foi do tipo nãoprobabilística, por conveniência, composta por 580 discentes do campus de São Cristóvão. Por meio de uma análise fatorial, concluiu-se que a utilidade é o fator mais influente na decisão dos usuários em aceitar a utilização efetiva do ‘eUFS Aluno’ e a comunicação entre universidadeusuário e desenvolvedores-usuário são problemas que devem ser levados em consideração, visto que podem dificultar o uso da aplicação. Além disso, foi constatada a existência de algumas demandas de informação não atendidas pelo aplicativo da UFS, que dizem respeito a localização dos setores da universidade, ocorrência de estágios, objetos perdidos no campus e pela criação de um chat da turma.
