Resumo: The present article aims to show “the last word” of these women through the analysis of historical documents, which are the wills .In this way it is possible to show women as a historical, social and cultural agente oh the 18th century society of Sergipe. Through the culture of “good dying”, the sharing of goods and the relationship with slaves, the presente study tries to higlight the role of women in this society.
