His course conclusion work aims to analyze the relationship between the LGBT+ movement and political parties based on the analysis of candidacies from people from this movement. In this sense, the present work seeks to elucidate, from the sociohistorical conditions of the emergence of the movement, the relationship between this movement and the political-party universe, understanding the itineraries, setbacks, struggles, demands, dynamics of action and militant practices of this movement to list the agendas of free sexual diversity in the deliberative and institutional arenas of power. However, it seeks to understand the power dynamics of the Brazilian political system, its nuances and particularities and how these individuals engage electorally based on their affiliation with political parties. That said, this work also seeks to understand the conditions under which this movement emerged in the state of Sergipe, as well as its relationship with political parties based on the political dynamics of the state and Sergipe's LGBT+ candidacies and their logic of electoral engagement. The methodology of the research was bibliographical research, as well as the use of statistical data about LGBT+ candidacies from the “LGBT and Elections in Brazil” database prepared by Prof. Dr. Gustavo Gomes Da Costa (UFPE), and finally, an interview with a Transsexual leader from Aracaju in order to understand the performance and history of the LGBT+ movement in Sergipe. At the conclusion of this research, it was possible to observe the obstacles that the LGBT+ movement faces in entering not only the political-party universe, but also in occupying seats in the deliberative and institutional arenas of this power. In this regard, it is observed that more than 90% of candidacies LGBT+ did not achieve electoral success, the majority of candidacies are allocated to low positions in the political hierarchy, in this aspect, it was understood that just the self-declaration of candidates as LGBT+ is not enough to obtain a better electoral performance, as the political system Brazil has a specific operating power dynamic, based on political capital, networks of alliances and familybased groupings. Therefore, LGBT+ candidacies are still located on the margins of society and the Brazilian political-party system.
