Um olhar discursivo em relação ao cordel: reflexões sobre preconceito e estereótipos na sala de aula

Resumo: The rich artistic and cultural diversity of Brazil is the result of a socio-historical formation, with the meeting of -among others- indigenous, European and African people. One of the Brazilian artistic products resulting from this diversity is cordel, widely disseminated in the northeast region. Through this literary product, stories are heard, laughter is caused and it can also present itself in the form of protest, social criticism and, above all, carry the memories of a people. However, the genres, literary or not, can bring a negative discursive image to some social segments reinforcing some prejudices and stereotypes. Therefore, our interest in studying some Cordel in which the ethos presented is not favorable to the resistance of minority groups is justified, but instead corroborates with socially crystallized statements and postures in favor of maintaining the scenario of exclusion and devaluation of certain subjects to the detriment of others. It should be noted that this is not to say that all Cordel literature contributes to the picture above. The general aim of this work is to produce a pedagogical material in order to contribute to the deconstruction of these practices, based on the work with the genre cordel in the classroom. Some of the specific objectives are to stimulate and provide reading through cordel literature and to develop students' critical sense through reflection on the country's social problems such as inequality and intolerance. For this, this project is based on the (neo) rhetorical and discursive reflections made by Ferreira (2010) and Amossy (2016), in which we highlight the concepts of ethos and stereotyping, also mentioning relevant scholars for the study of social dynamics such as Marx (1996), Pastorini (2007), Yazbek (2001), Ribeiro (1995), in addition, are brought discussions about the string oriented by Luyten (1983), Terra (1983), Abreu (1999, 2006), Luciano (2012), among other researches. Some of the results achieved point to the need for greater Cordel Literature insertion in the school environment, through activities in which both the criticality and creativity of the students are exercised.

Um dos produtos artísticos brasileiros dessa diversidade é o cordel, amplamente divulgado na região nordeste. Por meio deste produto literário, histórias são ouvidas, causam o riso, apresentam-se sob a forma de protesto e crítica social e, sobretudo, carregam as memórias de um povo. Todavia, os gêneros, literários ou não, podem trazer uma imagem discursiva negativa para alguns segmentos sociais reforçando alguns preconceitos e estereótipos. Sendo assim, justifica-se nosso interesse em estudar alguns cordéis em que o ethos apresentado não é favorável à resistência de grupos minoritários, mas em vez disso, corrobora com falas e posturas cristalizadas socialmente em favor da manutenção do cenário de exclusão e desvalorização de certos sujeitos em detrimento de outros. É preciso observar que não se trata de dizer que toda a literatura de cordel contribui para o quadro acima. O objetivo geral deste trabalho consiste em produzir um material pedagógico a fim de contribuir para a desconstrução dessas práticas, tendo como base o trabalho com o gênero cordel em sala de aula. Alguns dos objetivos específicos são estimular e proporcionar a leitura através da literatura de cordel e desenvolver o senso crítico dos alunos através da reflexão sobre os problemas sociais existentes no país como desigualdade e intolerância. Para isso, este projeto apoia-se nas reflexões (neo)retóricas e discursivas feitas por Ferreira (2010) e Amossy (2016), nas quais destacam-se os conceitos de ethos e estereotipagem, menciona-se também estudiosos relevantes para o estudo da dinâmica social como Marx (1996), Pastorini (2007), Yazbek (2001), Ribeiro (1995), ademais, são trazidas discussões sobre o cordel orientadas por Luyten (1983), Terra (1983), Abreu (1999, 2006) , Luciano (2012), dentre outras pesquisas.
