The present work has as object of study and work Chronology of Time Chronicles of the Islands Express, written by Manuel de Brito-Semedo, Cape Verdean author and anthropologist, who through his chronicles reveals how offal of Cape Verdean culture. This research has an exploratory character and seeks an acquisition of familiarity with factors that surround a Cape Verdean society, so it has the purpose of providing information about Cape Verdeanity. An approach used for quantitative, thus being a work study through interpretative comments used as a research source in its author, Brito-Semedo, through an interview. In this way the main objective of this approach is to recognize in Brito-Semedo's chronicles as cultural marks collected from the daily life of the islands. And also, To know and to study the culture of Cape Verde, to chain relations between Cape Verde and Brazil with respect not only to many aspects but also to the literary aspect and also to analyze the literary construction of the chronicler Manuel de Brito-Semedo. As analyzes carried out have as theoretical support Gomes, Bender, Laurito, Pereira and Traquina.
